Nagasandra Metro Station (NGS) on the Green Line was the northern terminus of the network from May 2015 until the Madavara extension opened on 7 November 2024, adding Manjunathnagar and Chikkabidarakallu beyond it. Its standout feature is a dedicated foot overbridge — funded and built by IKEA and inaugurated on 18 October 2023 — that lets passengers walk directly from Exit A into the IKEA Bengaluru store across busy Tumkur Road (NH-48) without touching traffic. The station also sits close to Prakriya Hospital (roughly 200m) and the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC, about 2km, now also reachable via Madavara), serving the Nagasandra, Bagalakunte and 8th Mile localities of northwest Bengaluru.

Nagasandra is a fast-growing residential and industrial suburb of northwest Bengaluru on Tumkur Road (NH-48), bordered by Peenya, Bagalakunte and Jalahalli. It combines older residential layouts with newer commercial development anchored by IKEA and the BIEC exhibition grounds.
The station opened in May 2015 as the Green Line's original northern terminus. It held that role for nearly a decade until the extension through Manjunathnagar and Chikkabidarakallu to Madavara opened on 7 November 2024.

The first metro from Nagasandra Station departs at 5:00 AM (Tuesday–Saturday; Mondays start earlier at ~4:15 AM) and 7:00 AM on Sundays. The last train is around 11:00 PM. Nagasandra sits on the Green Line between Dasarahalli and Manjunathnagar, on Tumkur Road, and opened in May 2015.
Take Exit A. A dedicated, covered foot overbridge — funded by IKEA and opened on 18 October 2023 — connects the exit directly to the IKEA Bengaluru store across Tumkur Road, so you never have to cross traffic at street level. About a third of IKEA Nagasandra's visitors arrive this way.
