Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara metro station is the primary Yellow Line station for Electronic City Phase 2 and the Infosys Bengaluru Campus. Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara is primarily an IT commuter station. The station's name reflects its co-location with the Infosys campus and the historic Konappana Agrahara village that was absorbed into Bengaluru's urban growth. It serves the Electronic City Phase 2 IT corridor alongside the adjacent Electronic City station at the Bommasandra terminus.
Konappana Agrahara was originally a small agricultural village on the southern outskirts of Bengaluru. The area transformed dramatically after the Electronic City IT park was established in the 1990s, with the KIADB (Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board) developing what became India's first IT park. The Infosys campus, one of India's most iconic corporate campuses, anchors Electronic City Phase 2 and drew thousands of IT professionals to the area. Despite rapid urbanisation, the original village settlement of Konappana Agrahara still retains some of its older character alongside the modern IT corridor.
The Yellow Line extension to Bommasandra (opened August 2025) was a long-awaited addition for Electronic City. Before the metro, tens of thousands of IT workers relied on buses, company shuttles, and private vehicles — contributing to severe congestion on Hosur Road and the Electronic City flyover. The metro now provides a direct, traffic-free connection from Electronic City to central Bengaluru.

The first metro departs at approximately 6:00 AM (Tuesday–Saturday; Mondays start earlier at ~5:05 AM) and 7:00 AM on Sundays. The last train is around 11:00 PM. The station is on the Yellow Line.
Exit 1 leads directly toward the Infosys Bengaluru Campus and Konappana Agrahara, about a 4-minute walk. Exit 2 goes toward Electronic City Phase 2 IT parks and Hosur Road (NH 44).
