Kuvempu Road Metro Station (KVR) on the Green Line is named in honour of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu, the legendary Kannada poet and Jnanpith Award recipient. Situated at the junction of Chord Road and Kuvempu Road in Rajajinagar, the station serves a well-established middle-class residential neighbourhood with good connectivity to Basaveshwara Nagar, Rajajinagar 5th Block, and the broader West Bangalore residential belt. The station has been operational since 2014 and is one of the original Green Line stations.

Take Exit B toward Kuvempu Road. Rajajinagar 5th Block commercial area is approximately 500m (6-minute walk) with grocery stores, clothing shops, electronics, and eateries.
Limited open parking is available with space for 50+ two-wheelers and 15+ cars. Chord Road bus stop (adjacent to the station) offers BMTC routes 250 (Majestic via Yeshwanthpur) and 71 (Rajajinagar–Vijayanagar) as alternatives to driving.
